1. CFD optimization.  The design of the V5R begins with CFD simulations to analyze airflow. The models are developed with the support of universities to reflect real-world aerodynamic conditions.
2. Prototypes  Colnago uses 3D printing to create prototypes based on CFD data, enabling rapid testing and targeted modifications to ensure optimal performance of each component.
3. Wind tunnel validation.  The prototypes are tested in the wind tunnel, including in a race setup with mannequins. The tests confirm the CFD data and help define further aerodynamic improvements.
