De Rosa was born in 1953 in Milan, Italy.

De Rosa is one of the world's best known and most appreciated bicycle brands dedicated to the manufacture of high-end bicycles.

Ugo de Rosa used all his experience as an amateur cyclist and his studies in mechanics and engineering to make bicycle frames. In 1958 the famous cyclist Raphaël Géminiani asked him to build a bicycle for him to run the Giro d'Italia. From here on, De Rosa bikes have won the Tour de France, Giro d'Italia, San Remo and the World Championship, among others.

 

For over 60 years, De Rosa bikes have pushed the boundaries of road racing technology and sophistication . The company's continued drive to research, develop, and embrace cutting-edge solutions has made De Rosa bikes a top choice for professional riders and bike enthusiasts alike.
